Bruce graduated from Syracuse University with a BA in Political Science. He has worked in the employee benefit arena since 1976, when he joined Liberty Mutual Insurance Company as an underwriter in their group medical department. He left in 1979 to pursue a job selling Life Insurance for Aetna Life & Casualty. In 1983 he joined Benefit Services Incorporated, a family owned company founded by his father. Bruce specializes in financial planning and retirement planning for both corporations and individuals. Whether you are a retirement plan sponsor/employer, a retirement plan participant or an individual investor, Bruce and his team are dedicated to providing you with thoughtful and informed information to help you achieve your corporate or individual objectives. Bruce holds the CHARTERED LIFE UNDERWRITER professional designation. He is also a FINRA Investment Advisor Representative. Bruce holds FINRA Series 6, 63 and 65 securities licenses. He is also a licensed Life, Health and Property Casualty insurance agent. Married with two grown children, Bruce enjoys playing golf and acoustic guitar.

With 25 years of health and welfare experience and extensive industry knowledge, Maureen brings a complete understanding of both the local and national market place to her consultations with clients. Her extensive experience in the alternative risk management tool of partially self-funded health benefits plans and stop loss insurance coverage allows companies to have greater control over their health plan benefits. Maureen works closely with our clients – from the design, rate negotiations, implementation, and communication of employee benefit plans. Maureen’s goal is to assist our clients in finding the solutions to meet their business, benefit and human resource needs. Maureen is an active member of the Harvard Pilgrim Healthcare small group brokerage advisory board. Maureen holds FINRA Series 6 and 63 licenses; she is also a licensed Life, Health and Property Casualty insurance agent.

Her job is to provide you with the most up-to-date information about HR trends and compliance issues. She publishes a quarterly newsletter on such topics as health care reform, the fair share contribution and domestic partner coverage. Lisa began her professional career in the field of healthcare benefits after graduating from Bates College with a degree in Economics. Gaining experience in the fields of actuarial analysis and stop-loss underwriting for insurers and re-insurers, she went on to apply her acquired skills working as a consultant for a major international brokerage and consulting firm, providing financial analysis of clients’ healthcare plans and proposing cost and risk minimizing alternatives. Her specialty was in the self-funded and partially self-funded Medical, Dental and Short-Term Disability market, working with clients whose employees numbered between 150 and 1,000 lives. With her background in underwriting, she was able to assess the potential risk levels of her clients and effectively negotiate the most favorable funding and rating terms with carriers. Lisa worked closely with her clients’ human resource personnel to design, implement and communicate the most cost-effective benefits programs for their company.
