Job Description:
Benefit Services Incorporated, a full-service employee benefits consulting firm, is seeking a dynamic individual to fill the role of Junior Employee Benefits Specialist within our growing practice in Wellesley, MA. The candidate will provide administrative support to our strategic consulting team in the areas of Healthcare, Dental, Life, Disability and Retirement services. This is a full-time position and may require some local travel.
The candidate will provide support to the Senior Consultants and project team members in the following areas:
• Preparing and managing the RFP process for existing and prospective clients
• Producing high quality excel spreadsheets for client presentations
• Maintaining a database with client and prospect information
• Assisting with the administration and implementation of existing and new client installations
• Maintaining a close working relationship with vendors and clients
• Interfacing with clients to resolve issues
• Preparing written employee communications on behalf of clients
• Preparing marketing materials
• Following State and Federal legislative issues as they pertain to the employee benefits
• A bachelor’s degree is required
• 1-3 years of experience, preferably in the employee benefits field, is recommended
• A high level of service, professionalism, commitment and, most importantly, drive are strongly desired
• Proficiency in all Microsoft Office programs is preferred
• Excellent communication skills
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team is critical
• The candidate must be able to work under pressure and effectively manage their time
• A strong attention to detail is a must
