Bruce S. Coughlin, CLU President Bruce has worked in the employee benefit arena since 1976, when he joined Liberty Mutual Insurance Company in Copley Square Boston to become an underwriter in their group department. He left in 1979 to pursue a job selling Life Insurance for Aetna Life Insurance Company. In 1983 he joined Benefit Services Incorporated, a family owned company founded by his father. Bruce specializes in corporate retirement planning, working to implement 401(k)'s and other retirement vehicles. He is a registered representative holding his Series 6 and 63 licenses and he offers fee based Financial Planning. He also works with business owners and management to maximize their ability to save and plan for retirement. Married with two grown children, Bruce enjoys acoustic guitar and golf. |
Maureen BakerWith 25 years of health and welfare experience and extensive industry knowledge, Maureen brings a complete understanding of the local managed care marketplace and national carriers, as well as a background in alternative funding arrangements. Besides having her license in health and life insurance, she is also a registered representative with Series 6 and 63 licenses. Maureen works closely with our clients to find solutions to meet their business, benefit and human resource needs. |
Margaret ShortMargaret has been with BSI for over 7 years as a benefits consultant. With a background in business and education, Margaret knows how to work with your HR people to make their work easier. Her job is to provide you with the most up-to-date information about HR trends and compliance issues. She publishes a quarterly newsletter on such topics as health care reform, the fair share contribution and domestic partner coverage. Margaret is also a fully licensed insurance producer who works closely with Maureen to find the best program for your company. |
